University of the Antilles

The University of the Antilles is a Public Scientific, Cultural and Professional Establishment (EPCSCP) resulting from the transformation of the University of the Antilles and Guyana (created on March 1, 1982) by the law of June 25, 2015. Located on two distinct territories: Guadeloupe which is a region-department, and Martinique which is a territorial collectivity, it welcomes more than 12,000 students.

The University of the of the Antilles is organized around services and components with transversal skills, and two autonomous regional university clusters: the “Guadeloupe Cluster” and the “Martinique Cluster”.

Anchored in the Caribbean, the University of the Antilles responds to the socio-economic challenges of its environment and offers an exceptional field of experimentation in various fields: climatology, volcanism, tropical ecosystems, health, sport and epidemiology, renewable energies, multilingualism, social inclusion, interculturality, heritage and culture.

It promotes free expression, scientific, cultural and technical development. It intends to enhance and optimize the acquisition of academic and professional knowledge both in initial training and in continuing education, thanks to a high level of expertise of the pedagogical supervision.
