Backed by the University of Angers and managed by the ESTHUA National Institute of Tourism – INNTO France, the GIS Études touristiques gathers 22 Higher Education Institutions. It brings together 196 researchers from 64 research units including 19 Joint Research Units (French UMR) of the CNRS and representing 29 scientific disciplines. Launched on May 6, 2019, it aims to structure, strengthen and promote research in tourism.
